Who We Are
With more than 64,000 students, 14 colleges, 175 undergraduate majors and nearly 16,000 acres of campus available, The Ohio State University is one of the largest and most diverse public universities in the country. Recognized for academic performance, research collaborations, a top-tier academic medical center and premier cancer hospital, the University is a leader among institutions of higher education.

To achieve this goal, the university created a new office of Technology Commercialization and Knowledge Transfer (TCO) to guide this charge. TCO’s main goal is to become a major driver of economic impact and breakthrough innovation in Ohio and the U.S.
